I am an Associate Professor at the Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China and also acting as Vice Dean of School of International Trade and Economics. I obtained both my Bachelor (2003) and Mater's (2007) degrees in Economics from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (Wuhan, China), and earned my Ph.D. degree in Economics from The University of Western Australia (Perth, Australia) in September 2012. My principal interests are in the field of international trade and development economics. Recently I focus on export performance of Chinese firms and its implications, trade liberalization and poverty, inequality as well as empirical studies of trade policy.
Prior to joining the CUFE, I was employed as a Research Assistant by the UWA Business School (2008-2011) and a Lecturer by Business School of Murdoch University (2011). I was also employed as a Research Consultant for the UNCTAD in 2013. My work has appeared in several international journals such as World Development, China Economic Review, Journal of Economic Inequality, Asian Economic Papers, Asian-Pacific Economic Literature, and Frontiers of Economcis in China, and supported by National Found of Social Science of China, China Scholarship Council, UNCTAD, UWA, and CUFE.
